Phil Collins to Remarry Third Ex-Wife Orianne Cevey After $46 Million Divorce

Cue “You’ll Be in My Heart”! Phil Collins is set to remarry his third ex-wife, Orianne Cevey. The bride-to-be revealed the news during an interview with Swiss newspaper SonntagsBlick.

“I call Phil now again as my husband. We are so close that it actually makes no difference whether we are married. But we are determined to get married one day a second time,” Cevey, a native of Switzerland, said.

“Love was never completely gone. [It] was just on another level. We’ve known each other for 22 years, 15 as a couple. Now we feel both the same thing: We should never have diverged,” Cevey continued. “The separation was the wrong decision . . . We are meant for each other.”

The singer-songwriter, 65, and Orianne, 43, ended their nine-year marriage in 2008, and are parents to sons Matthew, 11, and Nicholas, 14. (Collins paid Cevey $46.76 million during their divorce settlement. They are also the founders of the Little Dreams Foundation.) Collins is also dad to actress Lily Collins, 26, son Simon, 39, and daughter Joely, 43, from two previous marriages.

Cevey, for her part, is elated that the entire family can be together for their next wedding. “The important difference is that now our children can be there,” she told the paper. “I imagine the next celebration will be more familiar and smaller. On our first wedding in 1999 in Lausanne, we had to invite many more people to not disappoint anyone.”

“We were always very close, because of the children,” she continued. “But just last year, I realized that he is indeed the man of my life.”

Collins hasn’t kept their renewed romance a secret, either. The “Against All Odds” singer opened up about the couple’s relationship status last month.

“I’m actually back with my third wife — I haven’t really talked about it,” he told Billboard magazine at the time. “We’ve been together for a while, and nobody’s noticed.”
