Tennessee has had a tough time when it gets to March in the calendar year recently, flaming out pretty early in a couple of their most recent trips to the tournament. However, something feels different about this Volunteers team, which absolutely ran through a difficult SEC Conference Tournament a couple weeks ago and looks to be in terrific form.

Dalton Knecht and Jonas Aidoo account for nearly 35 points per game between the two of them for Tennessee, and Texas could struggle to stop them with Dillon Mitchell being one of their leading rebounders but only averaging under eight rebounds per game. I think the Volunteers will just be more physical than Texas, and that could go a long way in shutting down Texas’ offense, and if they can’t score, beating Tennessee is going to be incredibly difficult.
