Before Ortega began acting, she was a competitive figure skater. She said to Pep.ph, "I was more competitive before when I was super active in skating. I started skating kasi at the age of 4, and then I stopped when I was 12, before I entered showbiz." While Ortega no longer competes, she does still find time to put her skates on today. She posted this ice skating reel on Instagram, captioning it, "Showing you what I learned today with coach @leonardoaranton."

Ortega loves to go to the beach and pool, and you can tell with just one look at her Instagram. One of the things she loves to do is swim, specifically forms of diving. Ortega posted this stunning series of photos on Instagram of herself diving. She did a form of diving called free diving, and wore a mermaid tail to do it. She captioned the post, "Became a mermaid for a day! Had a fun experience free diving under the ocean."

Ortega says that she believes wellness is possible when you are confident in yourself. She tells Kami, "I've always believed that contentment and acceptance (in terms of looks) can only be achieved through a proper mindset. You eventually realize that regardless of how much you hit the gym or restrict your diet, what matters is how you truly feel about yourself."

When it comes to her diet, Ortega believes in balance. She tells Pep.ph, "I am not exactly health-conscious, but I know my limitation. I eat whatever I want, but I know how far to stop. If I feel like I gained weight, I'll be serious, I'll cut down on rice and carbs."

Ortega tells Pep.ph that she likes to take fitness classes to help her stay in shape. She says that she likes to do a lot of different classes. "I do Muay Thai for one to two hours. I do Balintawak training, where we use a stick. And I also do aerial hoop and pole dancing for flexibility.
